Nestled in the north-western corner of California is a beautiful town, or rather community of Calistoga, belonging to the Napa County. Bearing cool, wet winters and dry summers, Calistoga boasts of its rich history of the Spanish colonial era. It is basically located in the northern region of the Napa County and is a part of California’s Wine Country. Wineries such as the Chateau Montelena, Sterling Vineyards and Castello di Amorosa lie in close proximity from Calistoga. However, Calistoga is renowned for its hot spring spas. It is the native attraction which is being immersed in hot volcanic ash called a Mud Bath. Such spa treatments that feature the natural spring waters do carry healing benefits. Proximal attractions include a geothermal geyser which is known as the ‘Little Old Faithfull’ or rather ‘Old Faithful of California’. Downtown Calistoga has the best nightlife of the Napa County.
